Just a few pictures of my new stand 40" tall.
I'll post updates of everything as it comes in. Everything on order.
The stand came two weeks early.
So here it goes, in red oak.

Thanks for looking

Sweet stand/sump.

You will run of room really quick. I had a 24" cube and ran out of room quickly. Maximize space in the tank with good rock scape. Oh and also place something inside the stand, some type of plastic liner. Salt water is very destructive.

Stand was made by one of our marsh sponsors. FBN WOODWORKS . out of spring tx.

Stand was a bit pricey..about 2 1\2 times what a regular stand would have, but in person it's worth it.

staining saturday.

I've chosin the stain for the stand and starting that this morning.
Here's the sample color. Let's see how this one turns out. ...i only got one shot!
In a few days im also going to line the base and up the sides a few inches inside the stand with this spray water seal...I've heard good things about it...i don't want to take away from the quality of the woods grain with paint or kiltz.... This stuff dried clear.

GL man-Staining is very tricky. You got one shot unless you sand and re stain.
