just bought the 24" fixture and really like it but the instruction manual says very little about what intensity to have the whites and blues for coral growth. I'm not looking for specifics just a recommendation for a not so smart person like myself when it comes to lights and what light colors are best for corals. I've googled but the info out there is vast and just goes over my head. can someone give me a general idea what level intensity the whites and blues need to be run at for mostly lps and few sps corals. thank you in advance!

all that depends on how high its mounted. How deep your tank is. Where your corals are placed. Etc. many factors. Also depends on what the coral is used to. If you have varies coral requirements. Best thing to do is start low ans ramp up 2-3 degrees ecery few days or once a week. Give corals time to adjust to the intense lighting. Slow and steady so it doesnt stress the corals.
