This year a portion of the proceeds from Reef Currents is being donated to the Coral Restoration Foundation Coral Restoration Foundation | Restoring & Protecting Reefs . So plan on coming out to Reef Currents March 19th, supporting our local club the Marine Aquarium and Reef Society of Houston, enjoying a great event and knowing that your participation has benefited a worthy cause.

If you want to donate to the club you can simply send your donation to treasurer@marshreef.com. That will go directly into our account and send me an email of the donation.

Thanks for posting Candace! I'm happy that our club is finally making a difference!! Thanks to everyone that is attending Reef Currents this year. Without you all this wouldn't be happening! This is the first of many fund raisers I'd like to do with the club this year and in the coming years. We can make a difference.

That's correct. In paypal when you want to send someone money you click on "Send & Request" at the top of the page. You then click on "Send Money to Friends & Family". It's the first box on the left. You are then prompted to enter an eMail, Mobile Number, or Name. That is where you put our treasurer email address. Then continue on with the prompts to send. You aren't buying anything from us so its best to send it using the Friends & Family link. That way we aren't charged a fee.
