Hello,

I am currently using two refugium and have two question. 1) I just got a hang on back refugium, and don’t know the vendor. The return which looks like a pvc pipe going back into the display tank, I can’t figure out the correct size. It’s not neither 1” or 1 ¼”, and I was looking for a way to adapt it so that it won’t cause much bubbles on the display tank.

2) question, I also have a refugium on the bottom which is much bigger, and have added a lot of micro algae. The problem is that the algae keeps jumping through the bubble wrap and jamming the return pump. Is there anything I can get to adapt on the refugium wall to keep the algae in place?

What should I do in either?
Z

Thanks,

Don't worry I can picture it.

1st, you can reduce the flow from your first question with a small valve on you pump.
A HOB ref normaly has one, if not you can buy a small pump and they will come with a flow reducer.

Second, you might have to much flow trough your sump/ref.
But you can install a sump filter sponse, or you can get a Aquarium Overflow Comb.

Good luck, and let us know how things going on your tank.
