Need to renove some ricordia from a rock. What are the best methods to do t his. Would just scrape it off with a credit card normally, but, I'm not too fond of that idea. I've seen it done with BTA and it doesn't look nice.

If you can use some wire cutters or bone cutters and get a piece of the rock where it is attached to, it will be much easier to reattach it someplace later. That is how I've thinned out my mushrooms. Haven't had to thin out any rics yet.

i'd say cut the rock. but i've got a bandsaw so its fairly easy for me to do. with out one i'd say take a hack saw to the rock where you want to break it and make a nice deep score mark and hit it with a chisel and hammer. it "should" follow the score mark when it breaks.

Yes, that might not work. It's on a big piece of rock on the bottom of the tank
