Rimless Glass Sump (1 Viewer)

Hey MARSH,

I was curious to see if anyone is building custom-sized rimless glass sumps. I want to to glass to keep up with the look of the tank, but I'm not talking about a 40 breeder with acrylic baffles. I'm wanting a rimless tank of a custom shape/size with glass baffles.

I will probably end up going acrylic, since it will most likely be easier to get a hold of, but wanted to check around for glass first.

I just built a 17x15x17 1/4" with 3 chambers for around $80 including the 2 tubes of 100% silicone. If you take you time with the tape it can come out pretty nice.

I know Brian - Chewy, was making a couple of glass tanks a few weeks ago and a few people asked him about making some tanks.

i have a rimed 100 gal breeder on my tank and its mint glass is the way to go ...
