I bought a ritteri anemone last week and my tank raised perculas took to it immediately.

But the thing won't eat brine shrimp or bits of pulverized table shrimp. Doesn't even draw it in to taste it and spit it out!

Any ideas what I can buy to feed this thing and WHERE I shoudl go to buy it?

They are a very hard anemone to keep. Almost everything I have read about them is it is better to leave then in the sea. I have tried and failed to keep one in the past. I tried to get it to eat every thing I could think of. I tried silversides, Krill, brine, misys, table shrimp, fresh fish and just about everything else I could find. I would recommend to do the same. Keep trying different things. I hope you find some thing it likes. If it is not eating then it probably is stressed and that is not a good sign. Good luck with your anemone as they are so cool

Time for a stop at the bait shop. Get some cigar minnows. I used to feed mine a 1/2 cigar minnow every couple of weeks. You'll need to scale the fish to help the ritteri "grab" it.

Most anemones won't eat right away, and some never eat and just die.
