So finally got around to installing the ro/di for new tank and can't get water to flow out the either side the ro membrane outlet. Took the filter out and blew into it and can't get any flow thru it. The inlet/outlet ports are clear. Should it have flow thru it? Even minimal? The system was in my garage for about a year and thinking that the heat may have got to the membrane and caused it to solidify if that's possible. Do I have a bad membrane?

If you can't get water to flow out either side and the lines are clear. Sound like it is bad. When you take the membrane out will water flow out the outlets? What is the water presure going to the to unit? Have you checked that the filter prior to membrane and verified water comes out of the last stage before the membrane.

Don't forget to check marsh sponsors first. Buckeye hydro is the best when it comes to RO/DI. Top notch customer service.
