Hey everyone I am still working the kinks out of my new build and I would like to take advantage of my live rock structures before they go into the tank. I would like to build an arch or two as well as some tower type. I have drilled and used zip-ties in the past and while I think acrylic rods would be fine and would rather go with a mortar so I know that I won't have stray rocks falling from time to time. What have you guys/gals used to mortar yours together?

Agree with Ostentum. That's what I used. It blends in well and pretty much disappears in the tank.

I used the 5lb kit on about 100 lbs and still had about half left. I didn't use nearly as much as I expected.

Thanks for your help guys I guess I'll get a 10lb kit I would hate to not have enough after all its like a 10 dollar difference. I have read that it cures rather quickly(15-30mins) and its safe to put in the tank after 24hrs is that true in your experience? Couple more things one being would you say that I could build a large arch 50-60lbs without much fear of putting it into the tank? And the other being is this E Marco 400 and other Aquascape products the right stuff?
