Not sure if anyone caught this... but this is the cover of The NY Times today... what you’re looking at here is a graph of unemployment claims... the little grey area was unemployment claims filed dining the 2008 recession.. the monster all the way on the right of the page are unemployment claims filed last week. But we should all be back to normal by Easter.

Haha everyone is on tiger king.. ozarks was cool but then sort of fizzled for me. That happens when I binge watch and then get to the end of the last available season. When I pick it up again I forget all the stuff that happened and sometimes am too lazy to refresh and get caught up again.

i will never forget what a bbq guy i once knew who was held in high regard told me.. onl;y rookies use mesquite. pros use hickory.. sage advice i have to admit though that after some experimentation, pecan wood is king for steak at least to me.

I remember my first thick steak too. I smoke at 600 degrees. It's a 2' thick steak. The outside will char a little and the inside will be heaven.

It’s officially my birthday. This time last year I was having raw oysters from throughout the states in a bar a few blocks from the White House. This year, I’m allergic to oysters, don’t have a job anymore, the world is on shut down from corona, and the grass died in my back yard. Can we have a redo for this year so far?

Tolkien AMA. If you want something about the lord of the rings universe explained then ask away. Phone calls are preferably because the universe is intricate.

Have you seen the pellet grills! It’s the Apex of grills set and forget phone apps. My wife can even do it and I can monitor from work so it’s ready when I get home. Perfect every time. You can even get a pizza oven attachment.
