salifert alk & elos alk (1 Viewer)

Ok I was wondering which reading is accurate. The salifert is reading 9.6 but elos at 8.0.

The salifert comes with a reference solution, use that to test both kits.

ok the reference solution reading was 8.0. which one do I go by.

IMHO, ditch them both and use the hanna checker for Alk. In the past I did check use the hanna checker, Elos, and Salifert compared to a lab label on the Aqua Vitro Salt. Hanna was spot on, Salifert was .20 different and Elos was around .5 dkh different from the lab results. But like Cat said, use the reference solution and go by the % variance from the results to the reference
