whats the best invert for churning up the bed? i had a horseshoe crab which was great but he died for some reason. dont have enough room for a sandsifting star

GLA has some very nice sand sifting snails. They do a really good job.

My favorite is the Super Tongan Nassarius snails or Vibex Nassarius.

They keep the sand turned and are great for scavenging uneaten food.

For deep water and colder tanks the Tiger Nassarius is a beauty but you need a deep sandbed.

Wow, I just saw those Tiger's @ LFS for 2.00 apiece.
He had a hundred of them. I asked him what they were but he wasn't sure. He said he got a snail packet.
I do not have a DSB I'm glad I didn't get any.
They just seemed to big for my Nano.
