oops, just re-read the post and now i understand. just watch the boards like markieb suggests below, or visit your local fish store and get some.

The most economical way is to watch the buy sell forum here. Sand goes up often. I think there is much listed right now if you look around.

Pulverized limestone from one of the big box stores. Just wash it really good and get one more bag than you think you need.
