could you just flip the starboard over? that way the coralline wouldn't get any light and presumably die off.. i guess that depends on the symmetry of your tank too..
hehe.. Yeah, that's what I meant, but I suppose it would be too much effort to break the tank down like that. I missed the part where you said you were swapping out your tank :?.
whats starboard? have any pics of it? My uncle has a 250 FOWLR but uses BB. He sprinkles about 4 cups of crush coral but not near enough to cover the bottom. Im setting up a 10 gallon prop tank that will be BB soon.
Starboard is just a cutting board that you can get in the size and color you need. The main benefit I see about going with starboard is that if your rocks fall over the starboard will be there to protect the glass...I'm a risk taker...I went with just bare bottom.
