Just figured I would give the handful of you that like to collect the heads up that it is back and coming in thick.

I did some collecting over the weekend and the sargassum is full of life.

Friday night around 11pm. And all day and night on Saturday.

No pics. I don't think I will be posting pics this go around. To many whine bags on here complaining that some of us collect to much stuff and depleting the oceans.
But will tell you, Out of all the years that I have been collecting its been my best yr.

I hear you on that.. Well that is good to hear so hopefully when we get to go it will be the same for us. How was the water temp?

Water temp was a little chilly, took a little time to get use to but not to bad with the sun out.

I went down yesterday around 6:00pm thinking about collecting peps but the air temp was chilly and the water temp was to cold for me to wade in for a couple hours. So we scratched the collecting until another night.

Does any one know if the sargassum is back or gone for the duration?

The sargassum is coming in but in small clumps. Went there last Sunday water was very choppy due to high winds and water temp high 60's guesing.

It's back and it's really bad. Narny just posted some pics from today and holy cow! Here's a pic my friend posted on face tube although narny has better ones.

Don't take people to serious especially on line.. That's why I feed damsels to my anglers and even post up the videos of him eating it and I know people don't like that.. lol ...

Me three. Only thing that comes to mind is that you can catch those baby anglers in the seaweed sometimes. that is how we got our but I feed him the ghost shrimp not other fish except one of the anglers ate the baby angler that was in the tank with him and my pipefish because it was gone too.. That was from last year collecting....
