Anyone use this before? I am going to be adding a bubble trap to my sump and it will require the sump to be drained, panels set /siliconed in and cure time. I am sure this is partially wishful thinking but a few of the aquarium silicone products say it sets in a few hours but takes 24hrs to cure. I am really wanting this to mean that I can return the flow to the sump after 2-4 hours and the rest will cure underwater. Anyone have any experience with selsil or the others?

It say set but if still curing it can release contaminats. You be fine 24hrs no sump just keep powerheads and heater going. I've gone almost a week having to redo my acrylic sump setup/design.

Yea I have done it before too but everything was pretty pissed off for a while. Now I’m just trying to check if there is a better way before I start lol.

Is it a glass sump or acrylic? Is it acrylic to acrylic? Glass to glass or acrylic to glass?

Is it done? Please using masking tape to get nice straight lines. I don't want to see a mud dobber job. ;)
