Ok so I set up my tank and stand set in place and leveled. I have all cords drip looped and running into stand. Is there and good way to configure my electrical. Instead of using two all power strips should I get a 12 outlet supply with built in ground and fuse that will plug in to gfci outlet. 2nd does anyone that has a biocube with it's made stand... Does the tank stay in place upon filling it with rock sand and water or is it still easy to slide around

I haven't tried to slide but it seems to be in place good. I'll take pics tomorrow night when I get home but I use two 8 outlet DJ switch panels. Controls power to everything. Will also take pics of fuge.

I also like dj switches and you can check into controllers as well. Neptune, reef angel, digital aquatics are the popular ones. You get spoiled by the ease of those fast. I bought my first one because a heater stuck on and got the tank up to 85. By the time I bought an accurate temperature gauge with heater (believe the name is ranco) you are most of the way to a controller.

When filled you are looking at about 240+ pounds. Not exactly easy to move. You can always drain and move. I have heard of stands collapsing when great lateral force is applied. the stands are generally not designed for that kind of stress. I dont think I would want 200 lbs of anthing falling on me or my loved ones.

Man I swear I'll get some good pics this weekend. Phone takes crappy pics so the ones I did take are pointless to post...

Here are some pics of fuge. I have the bags on top, then mix of live rock and Chaeto.
