So the whole point of this thread is to do something he doesn't like and send him a shout-out for his help and endless advice. if you don't know him, go see him at FJW (your welcome Dennis).
So I was talking to him about my skimmer and loss of bubbles. we trouble-shot all possibilities and then out of no where he mentioned, 'did you clean the air aspirator? they get clogged as well'. um, yeah....no....
So I came home and took the skimmer apart and focused on the aspirator...eureka...it was clogged. cleaned and put all in line and that puppy is out of control. more bubbles ahoy!!!!!
so then we were trouble-shooting the whole pH thing and he mentioned just add a airstone. well, yeah....duh..
needless to say, I went home and did that. well you can read the results on the other thread.
so, here we have another member who was willing to listen and share. man I love these peeps!
so as you look at your tank and enjoy the reaps of its beauty, don't forget to remember those who helped you out with the little things. its because of them, our tanks are our tanks.
post as well. these guys aren't out for stardom, but sometimes its great to get a good ole shout-out. enjoy them as well. I am a firm believer of making great hobby friends, not reading or creating hobby drama.
