I have a couple cleaner shrimp, some snails, hermits and conch in my display tank that I am breaking down. I know that tank has ich. My 20g nano does not have ich as there is nothing in there except coral. If I put the cleanup crew from my old display tank in my new nano.....can they bring ich into it? What is the likelihood? I do eventually want to put a couple clowns in.

Thanks,

Stephen

Yes, you will transfer Ick in there but a CUC or corals aren't a carrier.
You have to stay fallow for 78 days, meaning no fish in there in that time period.
Or just dump your CUC in the trash, but if you get new you still have to QT those too for a period of time.

I have a whole batch of snails in QT now. Yes, you must QT or there is a good chance you will transfer the ich. Like Diesel says, as long as you leave your nano fallow for a few months, you can transfer them now. I wouldn't trash them though. If you get new ones, you will have to QT them anyway. You'd be surprised how many places house their CUC with fish. Even ordering online poses the same problem. QT them or bring them to me. Don't throw away.
