I have a shrimp tank that I use to clean Live Rock from Aiptasia. The tank has recently become populated with baby shrimp There are Sarragassum and Peppermint Shrimp in the tank.

I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this? Current set up is a 29GL with a single powerhead and LR.

I just turned off the powerhead thinking it will chew them up and spit them out. Should I do this, or do then need the circulation to survive?

I would think that the peppermints would eat them if they settled to the bottom. The larger sarragassums are swimming around like crazy now, not sure if they are trying to eat the young or not.

Anyone have any ideas?

I have two fire shrimp and one cleaner shrimp in my tank and the other night I noticed some teeny tiny things swimming around my tank that looked like small shrimp and after looking on the net for pics I think one of them must have had some babies and the cleaner shrimp was going nuts eating them  as well as most of the fish.
