Well, both the angels that I added last week have issues. Now I want to kick my own butt for not having a QT. These have both shown up in the last two days. Click for bigger pictures.

The Bellus looks like he may have fin rot.

The Flame has a white eye. What I read on the Internet says since only one eye is infected, this could likely be from physical trauma.

I would appreciate any opinions on what these conditions are, and what actions I should take. I am happy to set up a hospital system for them if I can get them out. Everyone else in the tank looks fine. Water parameters are good. Both fish are eating well & seem otherwise unbothered by their conditions.

These fish are being beaten to death by other fish in your system they need to be moved to recover from their injuries otherwise their probably dead meat. Its good their eating they may recover inside the tank probably zero chance

I considered that, but I have seen no aggression in the tank. It is possible it all happens after lights out I suppose. I wonder who the culprit may be... Purple tang, yellow yang (unlikely imo), clowns or the chromis?

If you have room in the sump move them...no lights for a few weeks, keep them isolated.

Dennis recommended I give this medicated food a try, so I picked some up and plan to feed it twice a day for a while. If the fish take a turn for the worse over the next couple days, I guess I will drain the tank to catch them.

Know what you mean about catching them. Best time is when the lights go out.

If you don't have room bring them over and I can keep them in the big tank. I have two sumps under the stand.

If I pull them out I'll keep them in my sump (I do have room in the middle section) and build a hospital tank. Dennis made me a great offer on a used setup. Thanks though!

My QT is fresh water dip for 10 minutes/low salinity/and high temp.

My track record is pretty good so far...have not lost a fish to any parasite. I keep mostly angels.

Looks like fluke. I saw similar with my fish before total wipe. I didn't qt :(

Reads like Prazipro is the best treatment for that, along with freshwater dips.
It also sounds like if it is flukes, then the rest of my tank has it as well now. So, I have to decide to treat the whole tank with Prazipro for a duration until the eggs hatch, or leave it fallow for 4-6 weeks.
Anyone here have experience with this?

pics clearly show the fish are taking a physical beating from someone in the tank. Have no doubt the fish may also be sick. Between the stress of moving and the stress of being attached by current occupants that will bring on other problems. You are right about now treating the whole tank still would move those fish to the sum asap. Will quarantine them here for you for tempory if you need but think your sump would be better if possible

Hard to tell for sure, but that eye on the flame looks like it could be a fluke too. A fish trap makes catching them much easier. I can loan you mine if you need it. The bellus could probably use an antibiotic treatment and both should get a 5 minute freshwater dip. Prazi is best for all flukes

I caught both the Flame and the Bellus thank to a trap that Dennis @ FJW lent to me. Thank you a TON Dennis! Both of them are hanging in my sump for the moment.
I could have caught every dang fish in the tank 10 times before the Bellus gave me a shot.
I have a 54g tank in the garage that is going to be a QT/hospital tank - the water is warming up and the salt is mixing as I type this.

What medicine routine would everyone suggest? I am thinking:
1. 5 minute FW dip.
2. Prazipro for the (assumed) flukes. This could change if the FW dip yields no flukes.
3. Continue feeding antibacterial medicated food.

That looks good. Prazi is typically not reactive for the fish (other than decreased appetite) so it would be good idea to do period. Otherwise sounds like a good start. If was only them getting beaten up, then will give them a chance to heal up.

Freshwater dip confirmed flukes. They're in the QT/hospital tank now, with PraziPro. The flame is really looking worse for wear, hopefully they pull through.
I dipped and dosed them this morning so I haven't tried to feed them today. They are hiding now so I'm leaving them in low light & just going to let them chill for a bit. Will try to feed them after work today.
