I just went and bought some silicone and as usual i am doing things backwards. I shouldve posted here first.
Anyway question is: would GE Silicone 1 for kitchen and bath be ok to use on some plumbing for sump? I dont want to use it until i get the ok from some of yall.

Robert thanks man, I am glad i asked here. I thought it would be ok bui thtey say not to use the kitchen and bath bit its ok ot use the door and window??? That is odd to me............

that is because the K&B has a anti-fungicide in it that will
leach into the water.

I have used the GE silicone that is without algaeside/fungicide etc with good results. Only downside to using silicone is the funky vinegar smell that fills whatever area you are working in. Another tip for you: to get nice smooth seams you can use the backside of a smaller spoon or I think they even make a tool for dry walling that would work.

I appreciatre it fellas, I will start running the caulk later tonight and am thinking it should be fine.
