Six line vs Blue Star (1 Viewer)

So I have had a Six line (really more like 12line) wrasse in my tank for the past couple months. He has been peaceful to everyone. I added a blue star leopard wrasse last night and noticed him out and about this morning. Buuuut....When the Sixline saw her it nipped and chase her into the sand bed. She hasn't come out again yet. Do you think the sixline will kill my blue star, will they work it out or is it a coin flip.

The sixline is about 2.5 inches and the blue star is about 1.5 inches.

yep... six lines are turds once they have established territory.

I had a six wrasse kill a half dozen fish before I was finally able to catch him. A new fish could be 10 times his size and he would still go after it.

Darn.....where is the Dislike button! I appreciate the feedback though. I thought since they were different families of wrasse and don't look similar it would be OK.

Super bummed! I hope I didn't sentence this little blue star to its death.....It was eating and everything during QT.
