skimmer not skimming (1 Viewer)

Any suggestions please? The pump is running...there is water in the skimmer but it is not bubbling. What do I do? :?

first what kind of skimmer is it, secondly have you tried cleaning it...

If it's a venturi, the air input may be clogged. Try running some fresh RO water into the air input to dissolve any salt creep.

Chech the venturi, sometimes they get clogged with salt build up. Take the venturi off and use a toothpic or some thing to poke it open, give it a good cleaning while your at it.

if you put water down the venturi rather than clean it out w/ a toothpick, use very hot water. it makes a big difference.

Or a tad bit of vinegar diluted with hot water works well also
