is it beter if a skimmer skims with micronbubbles or large bubbles?
i have a airstone skimmer that runs on a airpump and it makes large bubbles. does anyone know how i can get microbubbles for my skimmer?

The smaller the bubbles the better. Smaller bubbles have more surface area to come in contact with organics.

Sounds like you need to change your airstone...

do u know where i can get the airstones that make small bubbles? or how can i tell which ones make microbubbles?

I second this...They wear out much faster than some of the others, but none of the others create as fine a bubble stream.
