asm skimmers are really nice. plug and play and they remove some nasty stuff. if you want more high end, of course the bubble kings are awesome, as are deltecs and euro reef.

Hey Jim, i am also in the market for a new skimmer soon and will be shopping for one with very similar capacity. While i would really like to have an orca skimmer (i like pretty much everything sequence puts out, but don't really see myself paying the asking price for one) i might be leaning towards an octopus, ASM or something similar. A good friend of mine has an Octopus on his 125g reef and he absolutely loves it.

Reeflo 200 or 250. I think the 200 would be plenty and they now come with the baldor gold pumps. You could feed it directly off of your overflows or use a pump/return pump tee'd since it is an external recirc. You can pick one up for about $850 brand new.
