Well, we had a small disaster this afternoon, i came home from the frag swap to find that my 8 year old son and 3 year old daughter had WAY over fed my sons 12 gallon nano, the night before? As a result we lost 1 coral banded shrimp, maybe a maroon percula, lawn mower, and snow flake eel? I had already planned to thin this tank quite a bit when my main tank was ready but had to start early. I did a complete water change and moved everything but the eel. The only one i am really worried about is the clown he was looking pretty rough and had to make the jump to the big tank early. It really sucks but only time will tell, as a result the kids are in trouble and not allowed to touch any of the tanks EVER.

Side note had a good time at the swap today but was wondering if anyone knew who won the raffles?

What a bummer Mike! Hopefully they will pull through and hopefully it will be a lesson for your kids. Better on the small tank than the big one. My boys (8yr old twins) know not to touch the tank now except for cleaning the algae. On our tank problem a couple of weeks ago, (ammonia spike I think) we lost almost everything, damsels dropped like flies, the clarkii clown lasted 4 days, lawnmower a week, but the eel is still doing well so there is hope.

Good luck with it!
