im going to get a snail to test copper if its all gone and i need to know if snails need anything special?

well they are alive i think snails don't move much and the 2 are stuck to each other

well the copper test say no copper but its better to test with a 2 dollar snail than lose a 30 dollar shrimp

You are shopping at the wrong LFS if you are paying $30 for a shrimp.


What makes you think there is copper then????

well i paid 20 for a shrimp today but hes okay and i used copper to kill ich after it became super ich

well they are all dead 2 snails and a shrimp they lasted a day so i give up im going to get puffers and triggers stuff that dont do well with invertebrates and corals since i give up the copper test is still clear but in its defence i haven't disrupted the sandbed in a while

Too bad you got ich to begin with...I seem to be able to control it by not putting water into the tank that has a different temp. If I do get a bit of ich I just keep the temp over 80 for a week or 2.

well that was long ago im currently looking for a
Hanna Instruments Checker Copper High Range Colorimeter
to borrow or rent or buy used, so i can get the exact amount of copper in the tank the drops have failed me but i cant pay 50 bucks for a 2-time use
