I've had it for a long time, and he hasn't bothered anyone. He is at the center of my display, and gets full on flow from my vortech MP10, well close to full on flow. He always blows over the same dir. He struggled for a while when I was running the solartube and maybe also the smaller LEDs. In the last 6 months, he has colored up and is looking great. I knew that he had stinging sweeper tentacles but they had not been an issue. Well, now that he is healthy, he has begun to feel his oats and started whooping ********* on his neighbors.

Downwind is a toadstool that seems un-impressed with his one stinging tentacle. But, to the side is a green montipora that the Galaxia has managed to zing in a few palces with his apparent second, side sweeping tentacle. A couple nights ago, I vasectomied his two tentacles, with a small pair of scissors. I figure that they will grow back very quickly, and I am probably just buying a little bit of time, but other than that, no harm done. Am I correct in this ? How many of these sweeper tentacles do they usually employ ? I figure that he will probably kill off the lower part of that green coral next to him. That'l be a shame.

move the coral next to him or place the galaxy in a way that pushes the tentacles away from everything else or mabe sweeping around a corner of the rock work so there's no fear of him stinging anything else.

really there aren't many other options something needs to be moved.

or you could aim a pump from the back towards the galaxy so its tentacles hae a "wall" of water that they can't cross through.

youre lucky if youre only getting one or two tentacles at a time, they usually have a bunch of their tentacles out at night. if there is something in the tank that you DONT want, put it next to it and it will kill it (ie mushroom)
