It's weird, the only one doing this out of my 4 SPS pieces. Been going on for a while and RTN very very slowly. All parameters are beyond good I even bought a Elos test kit to verify. Should I be fragging?

I would keep an eye on it and see if it keeps getting worse. I have had the same thing happen to a few of mine, they later died. I would also get a frag of of it now just to be safe.

I can try and make some room for some of your choice corals if it's not to late?

If it keeps happening... make some frags before it kills the whole colony.

Frag frag frag! How long have you had all of them again? What is the most recent addition? Alk sounds good, but the recomendation is a good one. What are the other perams? What is your WC schedule and amount?

I think you're going to loose them but, would do FW Exit treatment anyway; particularly if you want to keep 'em again just as a safety measure. I've had STN issues before, but they were always recently aquired wild-caught colonies so stress is more likely in that case.

All the parameters are in good order. Except the Calc is a bit high near the 480's before my water changes.

My tank schedule is:

20% wc every other week.
Dose Aquavitro Calcification twice a week.
Aquavitro Eight.Four twice a week.
Aquavitro Fuel 3 times a week.

I have had that particular colony for about 4 weeks. There are 6 other SPS pieces in the tank and all are doing well.

I have had issues with fuel.
my tank hates the stuff. when I added it at just half the recommended dose, my corals would close up and would not open for hours. have you read the label. it says to refrig. after opening. does it go bad? fatty acids go bad. but you buy it from the store and it is not refrig. and not vaccuumed sealed. whats up with that??!! I know a guy down in dickenson that started adding fuel to get better growth and within 2 weeks, he acros died that he had for 1 year with growth and healthy. he did not change any other parameters.

Fuel does not have to me refrigerated. It is recommended but not necessary. Also FW exit will not do anything for AEFW. Dip that coral in revive and see if anything comes off of it.

Thanks Q, I will give that a shot tonight, there are some zoas on the same rock, would they be damaged by Revive?

Also, what causes my SPS's to be extra green?

Guess I need to stop dosing Fuel to get the iodide out of the system or lower in concentration then.

Thanks.
