I just got these in and within an hour I had colonies ready to frag out. Unfortunately when you try to frag they deflate. ;-)

Yeah, the academic community (geneticists) have been using this method to study coral DNA as it's a quick, super easy way to get a full-sized living colony. However, I am saddened they are releasing this to the general public. It literally takes pounds of a colony to create just a few seeds, and then "sprouted" colonies only last a 8-12 weeks. But yes, they are amazing.

This must have been a special introductory offer at those prices. You guys were lucky to get them.
