So today I noticed my Space Invader pectina is looking rough. Two days ago it looked perfectly fine. It's been happy in my tank for several months now. Thoughts on what I should do?

Parameters have been stable for the past month.
SG 1.026
ph 7.9-8.1
Alk 9.6
Ca 410
Mg 1275
NO3 16
PO4 .14 (bit high, I shouldn't have dosed it yesterday)

Hmmmmm......not sure.
Maybe a bacterial infection or a hungry fish????
Anything slimy coming off?

I haven't noticed any fish bothering it. I'm hoping it's because the po4 jumped up and that it will get better as it drops back down.

.14 is not that high for PO4 unless maybe there was a rapid change. My PO4 stays around .15 and my LPS love it. It's possible the NO3 at 16 is a little high though. Almost looks to me like something was stinging it since it seems to be local to that one side. Was there any mushrooms or something with sweepers near by? I had a mushroom get close to mine one time and it looked similar.

It was fairly rapid. It was 0 on Sunday, so I dosed a little. Checked again Mon and it was back to zero. Then I got lazy and dosed for 3 more days without checking. So it went from 0 to .14 over the week.

It does look like a coral fight, but I don't have anything near it (because it's the mean one supposedly) and no shrooms. Unless my BTA walked around the tank at night and went right back to his spot, I can't imagine what it would be.

Had 0 zero po4 for awhile and corals were suffering. I think I just over did it this week. Have intermittently dosed ~20mg when test comes up zero. Normally test with Milwaukee mw12, but have red Sea also.

Reefer 350, 75g ish total volume
Omega 150 skimmer

Tank is 10months old, 7 months under my care.

Dose limewater in ato and 2part. About 1dkh worth per day.
I also have some vinegar in the limewater, 30ml/ gal
6-12g WC weekly w/ IO

Pair of clarkii clowns
Firefish
Yellow wrasse
Lubboki wrasse
Flameback angel
Cleaner shrimp
Snails, hermits

Mostly acro's
Some lobo, favia, and scolymia
Derasa clam
Frogspawn
Couple zoa patches
Rainbow BTA

The angel is suspect, he's only been in the DT for a couple weeks. But so far I've only seen him pecking at algae on rocks.

Everything else has been in the tank for at least a month when I last added some frags from Andre.

I would wager it's either the new angel (my hippo loves to munch on mine) or the rapid rise in PO4. If its the PO4, it should settle down and come back. Otherwise, watch the angel for nipping. Based on the way it pulled back at the base, my money is on the PO4.
