Going to diy a 20 gal sump on a major budget, given the season. Anyone know where to get cut-to-size 1/4 in glass baffles relatively cheap? Like under 10 a baffle? Not in a huge rush here but I would like to start collecting materials.

I use glass. I like glass. I have a great place I go to in Spring to get my glass cut and they actually cut for a lot of hobbyists. I went to them when building both my sumps. They have any size you could need, friendly staff, and who doesn't appreciate a straight cut? If you decide to go glass let me know, I will send you their info.

I used polypropylene (or were they ldpe i can't remember, reef safe either way) cutting boards from Walmart and cut them with a jig myself :s

I still have them and i actually don't mind the fact that they don't break and no light makes it through.

I got them for $7 a pop if i recall correctly.
