I recently bought a sun aquatics 14K MH bulb for my 29g tank. Can you get any more blue!! Dont like it at all. Pic came from the net showing different colors of the MH lamps. Guess I will put it back up for sale on ebay. Going to try it out first.

I believe this one in the pic is a 250W. That is the same wattage I have ordered. I havent received it yet so I still need to see how it looks. Isnt that blue though? Wow! The web site that has this stuff on it, which I am sure you guys know about is:

I don't know about the sun aquatics 14K MH, but I know the 250 watt de xm 20k's are way too blue also. Is yours de or se? I really like the Hamilton 14k. Currently I'm running IceCap 20k and it's not too blue but not as bright as the Hamilton's.

Mine will be DE and it is going to be 250W sun aquatics. If you look at the link, the picture to the right is supposed to be the MH with actinics on. That is not as blue as the one with just the MH. I think it might be the photo. I hope!! I would like to have a Hamilton but this was $28.00 on ebay so I guess you get what you pay for.
