It's only T5. A little bit of LED as I do have the hybrid fixture.

I would probably add an Orphek strip when I get some extra money.

This is one year difference with about 9 months only on LED. I’m running 4 hydra 26 HD. Only blue and royal blue get pushed past 60 %.

The ecotech graph is a little more compressed than the T5 graph. I assume it is intensity but I do not see that on the ecotech graph either. With that said if ecotech sent me some of their lights I will drop my T5 like a bad habit! I personally like the look of LEDs a little more but I also think they need the T5s for shadow coverage. Unless you want to spend more money and get the diffusers for the ecotech...you would also need more of them for the coverage I would think. Of course since I dont own anything ecotech my opinion shouldn't matter.

I had crappy extension with my T5s...of course I also had a Fox Flame who was notorious for pecking everything all over the tank. So you certainly cannot blame the lights. How many people blame their lights on bad PE but they do have pecking fish and don't realize it? Bet there are more than a few...

I'll probably add one later at some point. They work great.

I’ve had MHs, T5, black box LEDs, and Radion G4 pros. While it has been said many times before, T5/LED hybrid is the way to go.
I get polyp extension and growth all the same under my Radion/T5 frag tanks as I do in my display lit with ATI 8-bulb T5 fixture with supplemental LED actinic bars.

It’s really about the health of the tank and stability. Lights are like 3rd down the list for healthy acros to me.

I don’t actually have a list but off the top of my head:
Stable parameters
Mature tank
Pest free
Lights
Flow
Proper par level
Getting healthy frags to start with
Correct spectrum of lighting

For me it's Stability 1st including parameters, and all other things that relate to stability. (Nutrients, Nutrition, etc.)
Then lighting and Mature tank are both a 2nd
Flow 3rd

I agree 100% on getting healthy frags to start with. That can mean the difference of 6 months!
