My aquarium has gotten cloudy after adding ro/di water. Total volume added was 1/2-3/4 gallon. It has been about 2 hours since I added the water.

Not sure whats going on.

None of the corals appears to be in distress.

Sump, I also see some very small white snail/slug looking things on the glass about 1 mm long, I dont think they are amphipods as I cannot see legs.

I can't get a good picture of them. One end curls sideways from time to time. The other end appears to be forked. Theres also a black dot on the moving end. Never seen these before.

You might relate this with a pic and I'm sure Cat (Tektike) will jump on that for ya.

Maybe they are Pineapple..........something, I think!

I got good pic, but I am gonna have to crop it to get it up on the site. Its definitely got forked end. It almost looks like the Star Treck insignia in white

I think the cloudiness is the anemone pooping.

The water has cleared up quite lot.

What's it doing on the glass? What do I do with it? I can see about 5 to 10 on the glass.

Yes, flatworms. Some are OK, others bad. You can get fish that eat them like some wrasses, or you can use Salifert's Flatworm eXit to kill them. I wouldn't worry too much about them unless they're population gets high or you notice them on corals bothering/eating them.

Huffman?
Cat, would it be wise just to go ahead and get a wrasse just to.make sure you won't have a problem? Do they do anything positive for the tank?

Overall not much benefit from flatworms...their population will go up and down with available food. If you've been planning on adding a wrasse to the tank I'd say go ahead and do it, but if you haven't been planning on getting one, I'd wait and see how the flatworm population is and if they bother any corals.

clear lake
and about your cloudiness problem it may just be you stirred up the poo from the sump and it got pumped back into your display.

That happens on my tank. I change water out of my sump and then refill with clean water when I do water changes and the water clouds up for a few hours. If you see larger partials floating around after the water change but not before then I would say its you disturbing the stuff in the sump.

Some people use a hose to suck the stuff off the bottom of the sump when they do water changes. You can do it however often you want personally.
