Well I haven't done any major cleaning in my waterbox 220. The skimmer I never cleaned since startup. It had a 5 gallon avast marine bucket hooked up to the cap. So in essence the 5 gallon finally filled up and I had to clean it up. The skimmer is a simplicity. It was totally black and I was regretting cleaning it up. Hooked up the hose with a stream nozzle and it knocked out the gunk easily. I then used a Mr Clean pad and no chemicals. It came out virtually new. Now stop being lazy
PS: Yes Cody that is an old bottle of Kent Tech M.. the good stuff. 
I do have reflux though.
