Ok now I, getting some water chilled to throw in there. Or should I just let it come down on its own?

Huffman?
IDK but I would imagine a slow drop in temp would be better than hitting it hard with a chiller. Just my opinion

Just let it come down on its own a tank shouldnt fluctuate more than 2-3 degrees in a 24hour period droping it back down too fast could cause problems

83 probably will not hurt your sps but wouldnt make it a habit of letting it get that high. Hope variance isnt too bad my tank temp in the summer will some times move 5 degrees usally starting out below 78 and ending close to 82
