It's some kind of encrusting coral....... I stick it there when it was like a quarter size.I'll post a closer picture of it.Maybe somebody can Identify it for me.I have it from my previous tank,but I really didn't know what it's called.

Joe, I got that coral from u 3 yrs ago and gave Eugene a frag. Lol. I killed the one u gave me long time ago. Lol

Eugene! honestly! I don't remember! Eric B. gave me a frag years ago that turned into a monster! That thing will sting and destroy anything! Post a better pic of it and see if some coral scholars can figure it out! It looks like a encrusting hydnaphora! That green/purple/ teal color is beautiful though!

You remind me of E.Borneman very nice guy,he stopped by my house many years ago to drop some birdsnests and other corals that I can't even remember.

I have the same coral that covered the overflow in my previous tank with no problem.But I also have a quiet similar encrusting coral that looks very pretty at night (actinic/moonlight)-neon green with stripes like a brain(I'm suspecting it a brain family) that extends its polyps and sabotage other corals at night.This one stays in my other tank.

You need to frag that huge greenish coral on the right side of your tank out and sell them frags.. its getting toooo big.
