I purchased a new hydroponic TDS METER from ebay for $23.00. I guess this is a good deal. They go for $48.00 reg. It is suppose to be self calibrating, or you can calibrate it using distilled water. :?

I got one from ebay as well. My RO water read 11 on the TDS meter. I added an in-line deionization cartridge and got it down to 8. Is it suppose to be zero?

Most TDS meters come with a calibration salt.
It is either liquid or a powder which is mixed
with distilled water. The calibration is usually
using this chemical.
