Has anyone had an issue with Red Sea test kit refills , I just recently had to buy refills for Ca. And Mg. I got Red Sea which is what I have been using and my refills test everything way higher Mg. Has always been around 1440 and new refill shows it at 1520 same with Ca. Always around 420-430 and new kit is at 450-460.

Hmmm... I haven't used the refills but my results using the original kit were verified once against a salifert kit. If they were off they both were. I wish I could be of more help.

I haven't noticed any large discrepency using the refills. Were your original kits expired? Either way, I'd go with the refills results versus your older reagents.

Wouldn't hurt to ask a LFS or MARSHian to test your water to compare too. New test can be bad. Just never know.
