I just wanted to drop a note and thank everyone who attended my talk on keeping fish-only tanks.
I think about 25 people were there and asked really good questions.
If anyone has additional comments or ideas on how to make the talk better or more interesting, i'm all ears.
I'm kinda sorta practicing for IMAC 2005
Thanks
frank
PS sorry if this is a cross post

Thank YOU, Frank....great job on the talk. I actually did learn something.

When weaning lionfish onto frozen prepared foods, make sure you use a food with eyeballs still attached, such as small silversides, PE mysis and the like. Lionfish hunt by seeing their prey's eyes. You can dangle the pieces in front of them, they see eyeballs, and hopefully attack. This, of course, after you've starved them long enough. Once you get them to eat the former, then you can switch to other nutritious fare.

Still working on the lionfish. Obviously, he's not hungry enough yet :(

Other things we learned were to keep the water quality good, make sure you have plenty of room for whatever fish you want to keep, and put compatible fish together :D

I would of liked to attend but I had to work. I was at your first presentation and it was really good. At least w/ the money I'm making on this job I can afford to buy a 200 gallon tank like I want.
