I think all those Acans belong to screen name Mane with numbers attached like mane123........ he probably has the most Acan Lords of anyone or at least wants everyone to think so.

What is this - like "Save the corals, collect the whole set!"

I think the corals are cool, but his tank looks totally fake and lame to me (IMO). It sure doesn't look like any reef I've seen - it looks more like a fruit stand.

I guess you could say he went with a "theme" tank. Different strokes for different folks. :)

Hey Mike, we already have called dibs first, and does anyone know where we can get a dimond bit saw for our dremel?

Bev - We have already seen it, and some others, here let us show you a Japanese Acan Lord, which is what most of those Lords were not.

Jim not all Acan are larger than Blasto, the micros aren't larger, they are quite small.

Reefsavers, we know that there is harvesting going in Japan, and it might be illegal, but we tell you it does happen. Now the exporting to over here doesn't really happen.

Sheri is that berlinmethod guys tank or Mane, we are thinking Berlinmethod, but it could also be va_reefmans also.

Here are the pics we said we would post. They are from Mane on RC.

Nathan,

I know in the past that some people have gotten diamond bit saws from Home Depot, but I personally haven't shopped for them.

Well it looks like we need to stop by there and see if they have a couple for our dermels then.

We have been told to use the dermel for most of the fraging, but espeically for the LPS ones.

I've seen a lot of that advice as well, the dremel should market to coral fraggers....This holiday season buy your favorite SW addict a dremel tool...able to frag an Acan in under 1 minute with minimal damage to the coral! Great for cutting off nails in boards too!

Found this at Roe's marine world,
Looks like this one fits the description. An Acanthastrea lordhowensis! EXTREMELY rare find, thus pricey. Who knows, perhaps someone here will jump on it. I'm very seriously debating it, but I'd have to wait a month or six weeks. :(

Ouch...and it's not even that pretty. It's like buying something for the name stitched on the label.
