I saw an update that when the police went to the guys house it was set up to replicate the SA Aquarium...he was supposedly a "collector" who had one in the past and wanted another one. Thank goodness the manager followed them out to their truck and was able to give authorities enough info to track the guy down and rescue Ms. Helen.

Why would you want to steal a frickin shark?! It's so ridiculous it's kind of funny.

Wow, that's so sad.

What about where they poured the bleach? Since no mention of it besides the one spot I'm hoping everything was fine and they closed off the system?

The guy apparently had an aquarium & equipment. Why steal the shark? You can buy a horn shark relatively cheaply... a buddy had one in his large predatory tank in college.
So stupid.

Yup I don’t get it. I can’t believe they would dump bleach in another display to create a distraction. The fleshy part of me would like to see the three of them... well I’m just gonna leave it at that...

Yeah that's the part where it stops being a bit comical. If some idiot just grabbed a shark from a tank and ran with it, it looks a bit silly. Dumping bleach in the other tank, yeah no thanks. Not to mention the lack of empathy for the animals is a huge red flag within the psychological community. Those folks ain't right.

Ya I saw that on the news up here as well. They never said the part about the bleach. They should pour bleach on them

I have been to this aquarium. They don't or didn't see any cameras in there. They usual have aquarium personnel posted by all the interactive exhibits, so these guys probably waited for the person watching over the shark tank walked away.
