Ohh man…he has zero flow. Good way to break your pump.
I had an old thread about this but I can’t find it. It’s your friendly reminder to clean your pumps!
That's hearsay. That pump has been going strong for 2 years without a single clean, I put my hand in front of it and felt the force, and decided I'd clean it just to get the vermitid snails off. It was blowing like a hurricane. Not being sarcastic at all too. It's a great powerhead #teamjebaoOhh man…he has zero flow. Good way to break your pump.
How did the 70:30 mix work?? I bet it nuked it within 20 minutes. That's hearsay. I ended up not doing that on the other pump, nor this one. I had a bucket of 9% vinegar that I threw both in for about 30 minutes. Apparently, the vinegar was enough to break down the tough stuff. I'm nervous dipping too long in the 9% vinegar though. How did the 70:30 mix work?? I bet it nuked it within 20 minutes.
Damn! Just use that to cycle a new tank!
