I have 90 gallon tank, it's not drilled. I believe its AGA but not sure.
Anyhow, safe guess would be that the bottom is tempered.
I'm so sick of a siphon overflow, if I have the back drilled and an overflow glued in, will it work as well as if the holes were in the bottom of the tank?
Also, would you put the bulkheads at the bottom or top of the back?

Would you think the back/front is tempered glass also and it's too risky to drill it?

Thanks!

If its an ALL-Glass it has a tempered bottom for sure (http://www.all-glass.com/services/techinfo.shtml). The back is most likely not tempered, but that risk is up to you :)

A hole in the back with an overflow box will work just fine.

Ive seen them drilled both ways, at the top and bottom. If it was me I would do it at the top, just for safetys sake it can only drain to the bulkhead.
