I took my sand and caleurpa out of my sump. I am putting my dwarf seahorses in a fish breeder in my sump and I am paranoid about all the live good stuff in the sump going after the horses. Right now I have my sand and caluerpa in a mop bucket with water just over the caluerpa and 2 airline tubing providing air to the water. Is this adequate to keep everything alive? It really stinks, almost like sulfur, I wonder if that is my sand. I am putting microvert stuff in there occasionally. Thanks for any advice.
