It is supposed to strengthen to a C3 Hurricane before it hits, and the projected path is......HOUSTON! Start planning now before it's too late.

I got two battery powered air pumps, but I have no idea what I am going to do about the heat. :(

Yes, likewise I have bought battery powered pumps 8O For the heat I do have those floating blue ice paks in the freezer, but that does depend how long the freezer would stay cold.

What's everyone else doing?
:D

Actually, I would probably not do that if I were you. You're going to have some big temp swings with just puttin' ice packs in and no heater running.

It depends on how long your out of electricity. A couple days of 90+ degree weather and no AC and youll need some ice packs.

I use ice all the time in my tank with no major temp swings, of course my tank is quite large. I do not think one or two ice packs wll cause a very large swing and could save your tank. And yes, I am in the market for a chiller, just saving my pennies.

I am going to look at generators today at home depot. I do not want to have to start over.
I also have too many critters to evacuate, and will need to take care of all of them, so will have to start stocking up on water and non perishables. No sense in waiting for the worst to happen and then wish I had.
