They are pretty cool. I've had one in QT a little over a week that I got from MC Aquatics (formerly Fish R Us) in Conroe. This is only the second time I recall seeing one at an LFS, so good luck in your search.

Yeah I have a Hummu and a Blue Faced Angel (they are in the rocks) and you can see my stars and stripes here...they are all messy eaters , don't get me started on the Eel hence asking for something that wont be lunch

Today sucks - my beautiful banana wrasse died this morning. I don't know what happened. It was doing great through Thursday, and I was thinking of putting him in the big tank this weekend after only two weeks in QT. Then yesterday noticed he was not very active, but he still ate well and ammonia was about 0, based on both an Ammonia Alert badge and an API test. This morning he was breathing rapidly so started to do a water change, and before I could finish he was gone. The badge still shows 0 ammonia, nitrite shows 0 (it's an old test kit without an expiration date, so don't know the validity), and nitrate was about 25. Didn't see any signs of disease, but did notice a few scales on the bottom of the tank.

This one hit me really hard - I've been super depressed today. It could be because I know someone really wants one and wondering if they could have taken better care of it than I did. It could also be because I lost two other fish this week: a royal gramma that I've had over 12 years, and a flame angel I've had less than 6 years. It could be because we're taking down the Christmas decorations and that always leaves me a little down. Or it could be because "Magnum PI" ended forever this week. There's just something about the way the bigger wrasses follow you with their eyes that makes them seem more pet-like than most fish. Whatever the reason, this guy got a burial instead of just being flushed.

I hope you are able to find one and have considerably more success than I did.

I feel for you!, many people do not understand how saltwater fish really become our pets they have personality and get used to you....I am looking for one that can coexist with my stars and tripes puffer how is quite the bully, even though he leaves the much smaller Hummu alone and ...believe it or not I had an orange molly in there for cycling (never died) who is about the size of the live fish I feed the Eel, Hummu and Puffer and he can just be along them no problem...I am a tad worried...I want to put in maybe a lion fish too but the puffer kind of thinks he owns the joint (and kinda does :)) but i do need a bottom cleaner as both he and the eel are just plain messy eaters (don't get me started on the 'stash' of food the eel has undr a rock for sure ....
