Every time I buy turbo snails they constantly fall off the rocks and die. Is that normal or is there possibly something else going on. I have already flipped the ones I bought today 3 times.

Thats kinda normal but 3 times in one day is a bit excessive.
Do you have a wrasse or other fish that is harassing them?
It also depends on the type of snail some of them can turn themselves back over.
The large turbos are notorious for falling off and not being able to get back on the glass or a rock.
Good luck with them.

I'm having the same problem with any new snails recently. They just don't last more than a ~2 weeks,
especially the turbos. My current theory is that they are being stung by the random aptasia anemones
I have since I saw it happen once.

I would have thought I was acclimating incorrectly; or it was the crustaceans, but I only have the green bubble
crabs (mitrax sp?); or there is something in my water, but the other gastropod I have - the baby clam (Maxima)
has been doing fine.

Of course, the few older astreas I have are doing fine <knock on wood>.

Turbo snails usually do best in coldder water. Try some astrea snails. But they are bad about getting themselves flipped over. Or maybe some zebra turbos. They do better in warm water.
